When I started teaching a course about dance in femininity in my theater, the theater gallery, I was very amazed that so many women were registered. We stood in a circle and had hot flashes. We pushed our pools back and forth. Our hips got to know a new language. The drums brought us close to ecstasy and our zest for life began to spread. A course participant said that she didn't even know that the breasts could be moved individually. For others, mail went off in the bedroom! Not only women had this ignition! Her men found this new mobility of her women really great!
We couldn't stop practicing! The pelvic groups, the drops, the shaking and shaking, the erotic, sensual game in your own body to taste and exhilarate the world and to see and feel new with a smile and bright eyes!
Most who registered for my course later told me that if there had been "belly dance", they would not have come. This bellbime was not for you. And not either this glandery euphoria.
No, my dance to femininity is not a pure belly dance! We also practice African dance, modern dance, expression dance and the art of slowness in the movements.
Dance in femininity is about feeling, appreciation and acceptance
It is said that a holistic training includes body, mind and soul. I start with the body. In my stories and stories, I invite the women to develop a different view.
In order to get to know and understand us better, it can be helpful to question us:
What inhibits us?
Where do we defend ourselves?
What do we let "too"?
The view of it makes us understand more and more where we stand in our way.
I see what movements the woman needs to develop her queen.
I was able to make a woman working on her anger in a dance theater piece, where I worked as a choreographer. She was simple, nice and friendly and couldn't imagine getting into rage. It took. But when it was time, this also changed something very important for her in her personal life.
She was increasingly able to say what she wanted and what wasn't.
Her voice was clearer and expressed.
She also started her new attitude outside: people met her with more respect.
This is an example of many that shows what happens when the woman becomes confident and takes care of and lives her values.
Dance into femininity is an approach from the body to expression, sensuality, joie de vivre, feelings, activity, activation, the fire, spirituality, beauty and the essence of the inappropriate force, from women.
We don't need six packs and don't have to stand in the "warrior" forever
Building muscle strength is important. And standing in a position in yoga for a long time is admirable and gives us strength and focus.
But we women need a different kind of movement.
We have naturally forgotten to move our hips. Some are even shame.
Our wisdom and strength sits in the shot room. Our repressed stories of unsightly experiences are also located here. You can split this off. But the energy remains. Hidden. Hidden.
Dance in femininity also heals these stories. Soft.
We can feel good and love and we can shake everything that prevents us from feeling free
and to live courageously and happily.

Dear Nora,
thank you for your really interesting article, I also admit that I have always faced the belly dancing rather smiling-hungry. But the way you explain it, the dance into femininity would be quite imaginable for me 😉
Madness what another name is for the almost same.
Thanks for this eye open moment.
