Why the dance into femininity strengthens your self-confidence at any age

Does dancing into femininity help your self-esteem?
When does a woman actually stop feeling sensual and erotic?
Is there an expiration date?
A number?
An expiration date?
From 50 plus?

Who determines that? Society or ourselves?

Joie de vivre knows no age. On the contrary: we become bolder and dare more if we want to!
Joie de vivre knows no stopping in old age

When you hug people, you immediately feel how close your heart has already been.
Whether the body feels alive, whether it is blocked, whether it is open and permissible, whether it has armor built around it or not.
Our body tells us and everyone else everything.
What experiences he had and how he went through life. We all carry scars, more or less big ones.

Sometimes we eat so much because we want to protect our hearts and create proper
body armor around ourselves for protection. To protect against injuries.

I see it as part of life to look at those wounds.
The anger, the fears, the shame!
Especially the shame!
How can we actually love ourselves if we are not honest with ourselves?
Everyone knows situations that they would rather not have experienced....
the story that goes with it gets stuck in the body. In the form of trapped energy.
And sometimes it is also the experiences of our ancestors that are stuck in our bones.

And why should we look at this?

Very easily!
To be happy!
live and enjoy our wonderful gifted life
in our full energy, strength, love and care

Nora Curcio and the dance into femininity

The dance into femininity is
a pleasurable and spiritual healing path
that grounds and beguiles us and makes our crystal shine!
Because if we agree with everything that is, then we can
sit on our very own throne and shine.

On our spiritual path we want to grow and make our experiences.
And this comes in the form of feeling.
In dancing we have the opportunity to feel our hidden wounds, to make them visible, to dance them and thus to transform them.

I have accompanied countless people on their dance path, teased out their hidden anger, felt their sadness,
read their hidden life stories in their bodies.
And we danced our way into our LUST. It is so touching to experience when women "soften up" and become courageous, gyrate their pelvis, feel their eroticism, their inner heat
rises and their eyes begin to shine.

It's like cleaning out the apartment.
First everything out (especially the feelings from the basement)!! Take a look and decide what you still need and what you want to say goodbye to.
I believe LUST FOR LIFE and a healthy trained body are WONDERFUL ingredients
for a magical life.

I'm a dancer, I've been dancing since I was 7 years old and I know I'll dance to my last breath!
As the saying goes: the older, the bigger...!
I have studied ballet, modern, oriental and African dance, danced salsa, tango, contemporary, hip hop and jazz.
I loved dancing out my macho side and playing with it.
It's so fun to express EVERYTHING in the body and slip into different roles on stage.
That frees and encourages!

Discovering your femininity is possible at any age!

I once took part in a workshop where women over 60 took part.
One of them in particular caught my eye because she moved so gracefully and had an amazing hip swing!
She told me that she is 72 years old and that when she crosses the street, she is always whistled at.
Ok, that's not the goal behind it now, but feeling so comfortable with yourself is a healthy foundation for a rich, pleasurable life.

What does it actually mean to feel erotic and sensual?

And what does it mean NOT to be connected to yourself?

When I say dance into femininity, I don't mean just dancing around or having sexy mooves.
No!
It's much more than that! The dance into femininity in its depth means for the woman to regain her senses and free her trapped life energy!
It is the emotional healing of the individual and all women's issues in the collective, in the genes and in the bones that we carry within us.

The pelvic area is the woman's storehouse of experience and the connection to her
female ancestry

Many women are hurt by the gaping mother wound and/or father wound and the resulting
false self-image, like the so often present
- not feeling important
- not being enough
- fighting for approval, etc.

As soon as she honestly opens up to it, tears flow and the woman comes
into contact with her suppressed parts, such as her neediness, her greed, her anger, her suppressed instincts, her self-hatred. ...
Sometimes that partner shows up who reflects all of this on her and treats her accordingly.
He subconsciously shows her how disconnected she is from herself.

How do we resolve this?

There is an intellectual understanding and there is an understanding through the body.

And it's a process! Sometimes it can take a while...

In the healing circle of women we feel protected and secure.

Through the movement and the music we approach in depth and we follow the impulses of the music and the inner
state and the rhythm, dance and dance and dance....
That creates liveliness. This gradually softens the body armor.

Sexual power, vitality (Chi) and liveliness belong together.

So change can only happen if we FEEL. And that is the dance into femininity!

In the awakening self-esteem, the woman's self-love grows and she learns to take care of herself on all levels.
To really listen to what she really needs and wants in order to feel completely nourished.

She grows up and becomes the queen.
A queen is a woman who is fulfilled within herself, who gushes from her overflowing source, who recognizes her very own light, lives, shines and shines.
There is nothing more attractive than a woman who is at peace with herself and no longer feels any need and who
is in deep trust and surrender to life.
Without wanting to control situations and exercise power. At this stage she will begin to feel confident and enjoy her sensual and natural radiance more and more.
Then her life begins to become magical.

So this dance is on the one hand an approach to ourselves and at the same time learning a dance technique
that is fun, makes you want to and just makes you happy.

When the queen sits on her own throne, she exudes enchantment,
magic, serenity and happiness.

The look in the mirror becomes more forgiving over time and we start
to find ourselves really great more and more!
We don't want to be anyone else but ourselves.
Gradually the condemning voices
and other burdensome thoughts stop.
We no longer want what others have.
We want us!
In full glory and bloom!

We love each other more and more and an awakening self-confidence is sooo sexy!
It's not our looks that make us attractive to others, it's our energy!

But not only that!
The health aspect is enormous! The pelvic floor, the organs and the muscles are trained.
Unlike in gymnastics, where we mostly train specific muscles, here we come into the holistic, harmonious flow.

A transformation path from princess to queen

For me, the dance into femininity is a path of transformation from princess to queen.
By using the movement vocabulary of meandering movements, rhythmic
stomping with contact with the earth and shaking (shimmy), we ignite the fire in the pool!
And the sacred serpentine power spiraling up the spine and connecting with the cosmos.

Accepting your body as it is, loving it with all its supposed flaws,
just makes us beautiful and free and we radiate it!

From the inside to the outside. Your charisma will change so much!

A sense of attitude arises. A YES to us! And so I'm back at the beginning of the text… there is no age when we have to stop feeling feminine, sensual and erotic! We brought our bodies here to earth to ride and celebrate! With all your senses! Our soul will rejoice as we unite in wholeness. And shine like that!

I am in my body when I swing and every movement is filled with grace and ease

The fundamentals and tools of Dance into Femininity are:

  • Oriental, African and contemporary dance exercises.
  • Training the pelvic floor and inner muscles
  • develop attitude awareness
  • Best back training!
  • Abdominal and organ training
  • Amplifying sensuality, eroticism and self-love
  • zest for life and zest for life
  • Connectedness in the healing circle of women
  • Learning choreographies and playing movements
  • Release of blockages in the pelvis
  • Liberation from restrained energies

Recently I read: What happens when we get to the top of the mountain?
The answer: then you get off and help others.

My retreats and dance journeys are always a communication of body, mind and soul with the tools of yoga, dance, touch, breathing, meditation, the resulting conversations.

Nothing has to be, but everything can be.

With this in mind, I am already looking forward to the wonderfully strengthening, healing women's circle!

Here in Sicily is my place for my retreats by the sea.
Sicily, Cefalú I Hotel Kalura.
