References desert travel

Here I would like to share the references and feedback of my customers. Together with my team in the Sahara, we offer individually designed desert travel. Sometimes as a caravan, sometimes in a place with excursions, sometimes through Morocco, the Atlas, the coast and much more.
My desert trips are based on leading you to your origin and connecting you with your liveliness and joie de vivre. For this I offer different programs in Morocco and in the desert.

My special attachment to the nomads open you especially for this world and this trip. You benefit from the wisdom and art of living of the nomads, as well as my life experiences and inexhaustible treasures from over 30 years of practice as a dancer and body worker and mentor.

The trip to my heart.

The day before departure, I dreamed that this desert trip would lead me directly into my heart. Back to myself, back to this love for life, which changes everything and back to life that has actually been accompanying me since this trip. This is a very personal report because this trip can lead you - to the encounter with yourself. 

Marrakech, the journey across the Atlas to the end of the street and then on foot into the Sahara. Every single station impressed and touched me. The people; Nora with her lively femininity, her laugh, her presence, the team of nomads with their mindfulness, their connection to the desert and their humanity as well as the encounter with a wide variety of women and the most beautiful dromedaries have shaped the adventure and some of them touch my heart deeply. Three words for this trip: moving, life -changing, grateful.

We celebrated the life of dancing and singing by the fire.

Parts of me are still in the desert and I am very grateful to you that you gave me the opportunity to make this trip. As I wrote on Insta, it was a trip directly to the heart for me. On the last day of our trip I wrote in the desert, "We are immersed in life ourselves, lost ourselves in the storm, weighed up the pain of many lives and let it take away from the wind. We celebrated life while dancing and singing on the fire. I  met myself, I got close to myself again and I learned a lot about myself. A journey directly into the heart, a trip directly into life." Somewhat pathetic 😂😂, but these were my feelings and even today, with a little more distance I don't find any more appropriate words.

When I danced, I felt the woman in me again.

I was allowed to be there on this special desert trip. The desert has called me for a long time and what a gift that I could now wander through with such nice women. I always felt well protected by the nomads despite the sandstorm, the serenity of the dromedare passed over and swinging on the back of these gentle animals made me dream of 1001 nights. When I danced, I felt the woman in me again. The desert sparked great gratitude for everything in me. Thank you Nora - it was beautiful!

Fascinating starry sky and very special people

Hello Nora,
thank you for being part of this great women, no queen. You have not promised too much when you announced us daily delicacies, breathtaking landscapes, magical nights, a fascinating starry sky and very special people. Starting with you, a warm and so sympathetic life artist, further with our desert boys, who spoiled us every day with delicious food, attentions, music and hikes through a beautiful nature. The sand bathing and the hammam were unbelievable ... I really felt like a queen. Our daily small exercises, the intensive conversations and the opportunity to finally deal with themselves in peace have made these days so infinitely valuable for me.

I can only recommend this time -out ... go new ways, get out of your own comfort zone, get to know new people, widen the eyes and ultimately a journey to yourself, what more does woman want!

It was a fantastic time in "nothing". The calm, the vastness, the essentials…. Madness.

Since I was arriving in Marrakesh, I always had a good feeling and full trust in the team of the team and knew that everything would be great. The journey into the desert was like a trip into nowhere. The storm slowly decreased and a few hours after arrival in the camp, the sky was blue. The team, the boys, set up a great camp, so that we had almost arrived in our home for the next few days.

It was a fantastic time in "nothing". The calm, the vastness, the essentials…. Madness.

We had great profound and inspiring conversations, laughed a lot and warmly, I felt incredibly comfortable. With the exercises and tips, my body relaxed completely. The meals (we were cooked in the morning, at noon and in the evening) were excellent. The "perfect dinner in the dessert" every day. Four hard -working nomads and five dromedare lived with us in the camp. I would have wanted to miss anyone. It was so great at the sunrise to watch the four -legged friends wake up as they climb the dune and look towards the sunrise. Quasi like me ;-). The boys and Nora carried out fantastic excursions with us with exercises and surprised us with sand bathing and steam bath. Yes, really awesome!
Nocturnal, indescribable starry sky. I can't put that into words when I woke up at night and looked at the sky,
I was so happy where I was.

The time in the desert gave me so much. I am grateful that Nora and all other loved ones have shared the great time with me.
An experience that is priceless. I have recharged, I am full of positive energy, with new views and self -image.

An unforgettable wonderful time when you hear the call of the desert, then you are just right at Nora ❣️
Wonderful from the first step into the desert. I also felt very comfortable in the group and would not have
been a price of the world for the great women for me. 

Nora, we women, our nomads and also the dromedare formed a small wonderful unit. I felt protected and lifted.
For me, the very special moments were peaceful for me at night alone in the open air.
The community of other women was a very great asset for me. There were several nice moments in two conversations or in the whole group. The community with the nomads had a very special level. I felt really protected and cared for by her. The time together everyone together by the fire was another highlight.

Your energy is so incredible and it just fit! What this trip also made up was how you dealt with us, talk to us and talk everything together. And I will also go on dancing. I particularly liked the African dance.

The love for the desert is now completely awakened and I'm sure it won't go long until I go back to one of the deserts.

I think back to the journey, to the gift time of 'being simple', without a program, without the internet, I feel the width and calm of the desert as if it had become part of me. I can fall back on it at any time. I discovered what strength stood in me and that strengthens me in my everyday life. The desert works - but you only notice that when you were there and allowed it to be moved.

 I can recommend it to you in Nora's and the care of the nomads.
If you have a topic that you want to solve for a long time - it comes to solve without noticing anything or has an impact on it. 

For me that was the strongest experience that the desert worked on me and changed me - without doing my active or conscious. And I'm very grateful for that.

 After the trip, I was just happy to be back home in my well -known surroundings. An environment that I know and can control it reasonably. But then I dreamed of the desert every night. From the width and the calm and I felt how things came in me without noticing it. The colors of the desert, direct contact with nature, this awareness, how nature is stronger than we and we can indulge in humble and gratefully - that showed me how much I take for granted here in my world. That triggered great gratitude in me. 

It was most beautiful for me to walk through the desert with the nomads. Adapt to your pace and experience your natural way of dealing with nature and animals. They were always calm, balanced and happy. I felt absolutely safe and with them.

The personal gift from Nora was for me that she gave me back the woman's body feeling. To watch her how to move the body into individual parts when dancing. (And to realize that I have breasts that can also be moved individually).

Dear nora,

When I found you on Instagram with your desert trip, I knew immediately, I would like to do that: back to the origin - open to femininity.

A wonderful journey to myself! Your Tai Chi hours, have prepared me very well for the day and will incorporate it into my daily life. It was very good for me physically, giving me clarity and concentration. Our dance in the afternoon always had something liberating. It is so nice to watch you dance and follow your aesthetic movements.

The exchange with 12 interesting women has rounded off the whole thing properly. During the trip I was very good, running in the desert, the silence or even lively conversations with like -minded women I found it as a gift. A cohesion of women and also the nomads that accompanied us. A big praise to the nomads, who lovingly provided us with breakfast, lunch and dinner and tea ceremony from early morning until evening.

A very special thank you, dear Nora, for your always empathetic conversations, your open ear and your everlasting attention.

I can recommend it to every woman - a trip to herself and to find herself in the silence of the desert.

The trip rewarded me several times with borderline experiences, which I
found in the safety of the women's group and under the protection of the nomads as enriching and not as scary or life -threatening.
This trip showed me the miracles of the desert and female connection. I am happy about every life story that was shared with me.

I don't want to miss the experiences and the journey for anything in the world.

So many ask me the question: "And Heike, how was it?" And I lack the words. There were moments when I just couldn't believe it, this beauty, this silence, this with me, the community of the group.
No distraction, the pure nothing, no toilet, no shower, no cell phone, no phone calls, there was only me and the group, the nomads and the dromedare. There was a sandstorm and a lot together.

I'm still not really here and not there anymore. It has an effect, it has been the most challenging journey I made so far. And so beautiful and so special, and sometimes I reached my limits. A change of feelings, and recognizing what is right now.

Every day we were treated like a queen by the nomads. They cooked for us, paid attention to us and played traditional music for us in the evening.
Nora Curcio left us the room we needed, Tai Chi in the morning, dance in the evening.

And talk a lot, a lot of laughter and feel a lot.

The desert trip with Nora led me a little further to myself. The desert with its pure, untouched nature, the nomads as companions, protectors and providers, led me back to my origin: in my heart. In the protected space of women in the group and the nomads, which deal so naturally and lovingly with everything, my heart opening happened by itself. With 11 women,  4 Bedouins and 10 camels in the desert. An experience in my 66 -year -old age that I would like to tell my grandchildren. ´ Cool 'was already a reaction of my 7 year old granddaughter. 

The width and calm of the desert called me. Get your head free, leave everyday life behind, stand out completely of nature and trust what may come. Recognize the emerging resistance and let go again, inshallah.

The few tasks such as packing /packing backpack or preparing the sleeping warehouse serves to be able to be the adventure in the here and now. This also includes the tireless care of the Bedouins accompanying us. To indulge in your experience and skill is an easy exercise. Despite their young age, they understand that they seem to be unity with each other with apparently little communication. Your happy mind affects our group. Despite the deep -striking conversations, there is also a lot to laugh about. For me, the most amazing were the daily delicacies, which made me amazement. You can also cook and bake bread on the fire in the desert if you have camels who carry everything along and hardworking.

Desert, a country with privation and wonderful people. May this nature have been preserved for a long time. A nice, deep experience. Many thanks to Nora, our tour guide, who also selected this crew and accompanied us safely through the desert.
